SUMMERSIDE -- The death of one of the town's prominent citizens occurrer Monday when Mrs. Lucas R. Allen passed awav at her home on Spring Street. Summerside. Mrs. Alen had been ill for about two mo ' ths after suffering a stroke.

She was born Winnlfred Brace. daughter of Mr. and . bert Brace. Summerside. She and Mr. Allen were married in 1903. and would have celebrated their 60th anniversary next year.
