Some Seats.—The good news has been received that the steamer Newfoundland owned in Halifax has teen reporied by a vessel arriving at St. Jehn’s,Nfld., ae hav- ing a fatl cargo of seats. Her capacity is 40,000 seals ‘“‘equal to young harps”— the way those in the business designate seals of varving size and quality. These 40,000 “young barps’ will likely be worth from $1.25 to $1.50 each. If the latter figure is obtained the Newfeundland’s cargo would be worth $60- 090 tanded at St. Jobo’s.
