The words materialize in your mind,

But they can not get out,

Becoming exiled in your self-consciousness, Like a castaway on a deserted island.

She looks at you quizzically, wondering what you might say. Something brilliant maybe? Nope!

Nothing comes to mind, the moment passes,

And she slowly walks away.

You're angry now;

frustrated with the mind's inadequacy,

Wondering if Mom really dropped you on your head as a baby. You curse, shrug your shoulders, and walk on.

Now the mind searches for answers,

But to no avail as it keeps shooting blanks, Leaving you with one painful conclusion: You're a Dumbass!
