Still reeling from a 72-33 IUSS to Mount Allison last weekend. the Saints will try to re-enter the win column at the expense of one of the most highly faked hall teams in the Maritimes. With a win over Mount Allison already at their credit this year. the navy boys are looked upon as a serious threat for honors when the Maritime playdowns staff about the first of March.

The City rink counted two stones during the third end and from then on never looked bacli. They went ahead 5-2 in the fifth end before the visitors scor- ed again in the sixth to make the score 5-3. r

As the rinks entered the tenth end the score was 9-4. The Mac- Farlanc rink picked up two rocks during the tenth to close the gap and make the score S6. The visitors had their last big chance in the eleventh end. By virtue of the fine curling they dis- played throughout the meet they got three rocks inside the circle and with a little luck might have evened the score. However Dr. MacDonald on his last shot glanced the rock off his own guard onto the Summer- side rock in the centre of the circle. MacFarlane's rock was knocked out and the Mat-Donald rock remained in the centre of the circle to put the City curlers ahead 10-6.

The Macl-Tarlane rink curled brilliantly throughout the day. They defeated the J. G. Hayes rink from Summerside 13-4 dur- ing the morning round and in the afternoon they upset the Clifford .'tlacDonald rink from Charlotte- town in an extra-end match.

In the afternoon match against the Clifford MacDonald rink they went into a 9-2 lead in the filth end. The score was 11-6 in the ninth end but the Mat-Donald rink rebounded to count five rocks and even the score 11-11 at the end of a regulation match.
