This 1's your Camlp Ohiei speaking. First of all I want to say a word to the old Campers, those who have bcen il1 camp before. I'm looking forward to seeing you all again and having the best camp we have ever

plenty of fun, enough work to keep you happy, you will learn a. lot about Scouting and if you are a real boy you will gain a. knowledge and love of the outdoors that you will never forget. Perhaps some of you have done some Scout work in your Scout Halls—good—n0w come out into the open air and put in the “OU'I‘" in SCOUTING.

And a message to all parents. Most of you have the best inter- est of your boys at heart and you want them to grow up to be clean and healthy men. ‘Ihere is no finer way to develop a boys character than by giving him Scout Training; there is no better place for get- ting that training than at Camp.

Scouting is not playing a lot of parlour games; real Scouting is training for service and the build- ing of true character.

I11 Camp the boys get. all these benefits at the lowest possible cost -a good holiday‘, lots of fun and fellowship, training in selfrellance through the Scout pprog-ramme, all kinds of sports safe bathing, good discipline lessons in cleanliness, co- operation and creative possibilities; these are Just some of the things we aim to do.

Now, and perhaps even more s0 later, Canada will need 11s never before men of broad vision and plenty of common sense-Scouting will give your boy at least those two virtues. ,
