Messervy and T H engineers ' Harry Nason and Thomas White. ‘ _. ‘While no firm decision could be reached it was mutually agreed that the route (through Elm Avenue along Great George Street to Graiton would be the most feasible. It was thought that ‘ the curb on Avenue. would have to be removed and pave- ment extended to the sidewalks. A general survey of the situa~ lion would indicate that no great. change would be required on Great Geonge Street but a side- walk to sidewalk widening would have to take place on Grafton Street.

The Fellowship Group of Alman- dale United Church held their final meeting for the year ending June 30 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill MacDonald. Despite the inclement weather the twenty- five present had a very enjoyable evening together.
The meeting opened with a quiz in the “Wi’ bracket followed by prayer by Rev. W. I. MacDon- ald. Mrs. Emily Norton read the lesson for the evening from the Study Book from which a ques- tionnaire was taken. This was fol- lowed by a sing-song by the Jun- ior Choir, a trio by the men and a solo by Rev. W. I. MacDonald with Mrs. McFlarlane at the or- gan. '.
