OTTAWA, April 20 - (W) - The Federal Government has called -' for tenders for 01,169,370 worth of construction along the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton Island and for low- rental tourist accommodation at Cape Breton National Park, Re- sources Department officials have announced.

The road construction will con- sist of completion of a grade 12 miles long which was started last year; an eight-mile extension of the trail at its uistern end; I crushed gravel base over the en- tire 20 miles of road and eight miles of heavy grading in the Pleasant Bay sector.

Two new bridges will be built at Clybum, in the eastern section, and at Grand Arise, near Pleasant Bay. A third bridge, at Sheticainp, will be completed.

There passed peacefully away on November 11th, last, at the sacred Heart Home. Charlottetown. the soul of a great woman, Mrs. James Trainer formerly of southport. Lot 48. P. E I.

Mrs. Trainer was born at Grand River. Lot 14, 0! Highland Sootch parents, elgthy-six years ago. Her father was Neil McKlnnon and her mother was Elizabeth Maointyrs. To that union thirteen children were born of whom only one sur- vives, namely Rev. J. C. McKin- nen (retired) Halifax, N. 8.

Although in failing health for I year and a half previous to her death Mrs. Tralnor was never heard complaining. Instead she re- tained her jovial spirit and good humor to the last. Every word she uttered seemed to be a. prayer. A kind and motheriy greeting was always on her lips, and she breath- ed forth her magnificent soul into i the hands of her Maker fully re- signed to His Divine Will.

This was truly so. when in the early hours of March 28. God visit- ed the home of L. A. C. Winfred and Mrs. Wright, Chatham, N. 3.. and claimed for his own, their only son, Steven Movrison, at the early age of two and one-half months.

Born at Pleasant Valley, P. E. l., at the home of his grandmother, on January 13, where he was loved by all. and was a. bright healthy child. On March '7, Mrs. Wright. with her five little children, went to Ghatham to join her husband. who was stationed there. '

On Saturday, March 26, it was noticed that Steven wasn't as well as usual, a doctor was summoned, and on Monday by the advice of the physician, he was taken to the hos- pital, where he passed away on Tuesday morning. The little re- mains was conveyed to Moncton to the home of his uncle, Harold 'Wrlg-ht, from where the funeral took place on Thursday after- noon.

The service at the house was conducted by Rev. Willard Smith of the Baptist Church, who spoke words of comfort to the bereaved, and took for his text. "rhe Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away". The hymns sung were, "when He Cometh", and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" He also had the comittal at the grave. where all that was mortal of little Steven. was laid to rest in the family plot.
