Despite the inclement weather the hall was filled to capacity. Dr. A. D. MacKt.-mie. pastor of the Church presided and was ably as- sisted by Rev. if. E. D. Ashford of Hrrinliy United Church. Charlotte- llown. who preached an eloquent land inspiring sermon.
The dedication was read by Mr. Justice. Tweedy. chairman of the P. E. 1'. Presbytery.

Miss Bertha MacDonald, has been in the city with her sister for a few weeks she returned home on Sun- day.

Friends learn with regret that Mr. Len Ryan. has entered the Charlottetown Hospital where he was to under-go a serious operat- ion.
Frlends of Mr John C. Peters, st. Andrews. will be sorry to learn that he is confined to bed for almcst a year. Mr. and Mrs. Peters family resided in this vicinity for some time before moving back to St. Andrews.
The Village restaurant has been taken over by Mrs. Bill Anderson who it is understood will operate it for at least a year. The owner Mr. Gus MacDonald. has moved into the late Mrs. Barrys house to re- side.
Mrs. P. R. Sinnott. Jr. along with Mr. J. 13. Jay. and Joe Slnnott. were some what shaken up last week when their truck was struck by a heavy truck that was coming out. a

Maccormick. the high- light of the meeting. before a good attendance of Scouts. was an In- vestiture of two of the Georgetown Scouts. scout Master Duvar of the lat Montague Troop. accompanied by Troop Leader Mabon and Patrol Leader MacDonald arrived at 'I.30 pm. and took part in the regular meeting. Patrol comers. inspect- ions and lively games took place. At 8.30 P. M. the lights were turn- ed off and the Gcuncil Fire lighted. around which the Boy'scouLs set. The Council Fire was declared open- ed by Scout. Master, Daniel A. Mac- Cormick and "O Canada" was sub; following -which scout Master Mac Cormick called upon Scout Master Duvar to proceed with the Investi- ture, in which he was assisted by scout Master Maccormick. Troop Leader Mabon and Patrol Leader MacDonald. First Georgetown scout. to be Invested was Troop Leader, Donald MacDonald and next was Patrol Leader. Jackie Lovers.
Following the Investiture talks were given by Scout Masters. Duvar and Maccormlck. after which a Camp fire sing song. in which all participated was held. The Council Fire was then declared closed by the Georgetown scout Master. Coffee and sandwiches were served by the boys of the Georgetown Troop. during which recorded music was enjoyed. bringing I most enjoyable evening to a close
