For the check-up on shifting trends of street traffic annually made by Edmonton's City Engin- eer, nearly 300 Boy Scouts were used in four-hour shift on two days between 7.30 a. m. and 11.30 p. m. The boys were provided with tally cads and placed at 21 street inter- sections.

In a town planning survey of Fort, William and Port Anthur Boy Scouts were used by the town planning expert. H. L, Seymour, to make an afternoon count. of vehicular traffic of the two cities. A special coirnt. of pedestrians was made by the Scouts in the busi- ness areas between 4.45 and 5.45 p. in.
