It is true that South was rather optimistic when he accepted North's urge to bid game, but the major share or responsibility rest- ed on North. It was North who. by figuratively "begging" his part- ner to go on, really took the set. While they waited. they looked down in the water beneath them. It was clear and smooth. The one at the outer end of the line saw a small Minnow a little way oft.
