QUICK WORK BY POLICE- Valuable rugs were stolen from a car parked outside a. residence on Elm Avenue early last evening. The city police were notified and Ser- geant Dominic Doyls and Constable Laurence McInnis by quick action recovered the stolen goods within 15 minutcs. The police were able to track the thief part way to a building behind which the rugs were hidden, apparently awaiting the time when they could be re- moved to s. hotter hiding place.
