No one seems to know yet whether the new Berlin crisis can be resolved without the threat or use of force. The hope in Western circles is that it can. It is evident, however, that preparations are being made for armed intervention, should that become necessary. In such an event, what would be the- relative positions of the opposing sides—considering only, of course, the forces that would be immedia- tely available? 0

A report at hand gives these‘7 particulars: There are more than 4,000 Soviet military troops, in- cluding security police in East Ber- lin. United States’, British and French forces in the Western sec- tors of the city total about 12,000. DON'T try to go to sleep on the wrong side tonight. Chances are that you will toss and turn for some time if you do.

All of us realize that some- times we “got up on the wrong side of the bed," as the saying goes. It is merely a figure of speech. of course. to indicate that we are grouchy and cross all day.

REALLY HAPPENS

But going to sleep on the right, ‘ or should I say correct side is an actual occurrence that might affect your entire night’s rest.

You may find it easier to doze off if you are lying on youl left side while someone else will pre- fer the right side. It's all a mat- ter of choice and comfort.

HAVE "REFERENCE However, just about all of us prefer either one side or the oth- er. It is a habit we halVe devel- oped, possibly during childhood. But it is often a habit that means the difference between sinking easily into slumber or. spending considerable time try- ing to force yourself to sleep. Once asleep. it makes little dif- ference whether you sleep on your right or left side.
