The Department of Man— power and Immigration,‘ in cooperation with the University of Prince Edward Island maintains a full—time Canada Man— power Centre on the cam— pus to provide student placement services on a year round basis.

This service is avail— able to all students of U.P.E.I., faculty and alumni. The office is located in Room 102, Main Building and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on a year round basis.

The purpose of the Cana- da Manpower Office is to provide personal employ— ment conncelling, and assistance to both grad- uates and under-graduates to obtain permanent, summer or part-time employment and to assist employers wishing to re— cruit at the University of Prince Edward Island. THE BARN

The Barn welcomes all old and new students badk to good old U.P.E.I.

This year the Barn is op- erated directly by the Student Union-there is no large catering comp—’ any handling the business. This explains the reason for the low food prices and hopefully the good service. The Barn is owned by the students, and operates for the students. If you have any complaints or questions, please see Brinks or Ted at the Barn Canteen.
