Mrs. Helen M. Gongar has been elect- ed a member of the board of trustees oi Hillsdale college, Mich., of which institu tion she is a graduate. This was one 0: the first institutions in the land to grant coeducational facilities to the sexes, and it is meet that women should render their service to this college. Laura di Merritt of Dover, N.
