1t is noticed that ehle alterations are being made at the Montague Garage where a new cement floor has been laid in the front part of the building. Last year e new workshop was erected in the rear containing e modern hydraulic hoist, and electric weld- er. It it understood that a new ciiice will also be built in the front.

Mr. Donald Campbell ie at pre- sent getting his car in shape prior to beginning the motion picture circuit. Mr. Campbell reports that, the new 16 mm machine is in ex~ ceilent running condition, and that he has some very fine pictures booked for the circuit. He expects to open the circuit by the middle Iof May after his car has been con- ditioned and the roads have some- what improved. The regular meeting oi the Al-y monte Young People's Union of the United Church was held in the classroom on Monday, May 10th. The meeting opened with the de- votional period led by Miss Blanche Hume. The scripture was read by Mrs. Archie Hilchey, The program- Ine for the evening was in charge o! Rev. A. B. Adams, who gave e very interesting talk on his ex- periences in Bermuda, end the characteristics oi the people there. He showed some pictures he had taken while he was there.
