From November Ist to 3rd Panther Action Weekend met its goal which was to get more crowds to support dur teams. This promotion was put together by Jason inman,a fourth year business student, and it featured women’s volleyball,women’s and men’s Dasketball,and hockey. Prizes such as T- hirts,shorts,and a six-foot sub were awarded to the joudest fans.

m November 2nd. The Lady Panthers proved to be the itronger team;they out-rebounded the Lady Clippers t ind caused several turnovers. Bach player got her fair hare of time on the court,except Ann Nichols,who is

recovering froma leg injury. The Lady Panthers’ confident teamwork resulted in the score 82-36 over the tired Clippers. The leading scorer for the Lady Panthers was Julie Dickinson with twenty points.

I did not win a prize during PAW, but I did enjoy the basketball and plan to support the Lady Basketball Panthers (they will be hosting the CIAU Champion- ships nxt year).I hope that many of youcheered for our teams because they need the encouragement to reach for their goal to win.
