‘I'M semi-annual meeting of the Diocesan Church Society and the Woman’; Auxiliary of PEI. were held on Wednescay afternoon at S. Eleonora. There was a celebra- tion oi thc Holy Eucharist in the morning at St. John's Church at which Archdeacon Harrison was the cclebrant, assisted by the Rev. E.R. Harrison as gospeller and Rev. J.T. Ibbctt as epistoler. The sermon, which was an inspiring comment on the ten points of the bishops assignment of the Bishops Work in the Diocese was preached by Mr. Ibbott.

After the service lunch was served by the W.A. of St. John's Church in the Hall.

In the afternoon the W.A. held its session; in the church with Mrs. A.B. Cosh, the Diocesan President in the chair. A very eloquent and instructive address was given by Rev. S.J. Davies, Rural Dean. Much business oi importance was conducted‘.

Under the presidency of the Archdeacon the 118.0. met at the [home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tanton. Approval was given to the new con- istitution oi’ the recently organized Provincial Council for Social Service. The Anglican Boys Camp which opened on J. y at Freeland, Prince County, was also freely dis- cussed. $160.00 was voted towards the procuring of equipment for this camp and a future Youth Centre.
