A Bap Accipent.—A regrettable> acci- dent occurred yesterday about noon, at Mr. Donald Macdonald’s, Bethe), Lot 48, when bis eldest daughter, Vaura, received euch irjuries to tre left arm as to require amputation at the elbow. Threshing was goitg On, and she was standing near the drum when tbe belt siipped from the pully. She stiemp.ed to replece it. The pully was flying around at a very rapid rate, and Miss Macdonald’e arm wes caught between it and the shou'der of the epindle. Before relief arrived the forearm was co manyled that it was rendered use-~ lese.
