His won- derful eyes were like a pair of powerful field glasses or twin telescopes. From that great height he could see very far in all di- rections. Far off in onedlrectlon he ssw a village of Prairie Dogs with here and there on setting on his high doorstep, keeping watch for danger while neighbors ate. In another direction he saw Dlkcer the Badger making sand fly as he dug after s. Ground Squirrel or a Gopher. And far away in still another direction Kit Fox was watching for a
