Forty-one arrests were made i11 l Charlottetown during the month ol

l November, the police report pre- i paired by Chief Birtwlstle and read - by Coun.

Dr. Heath McIntyre, chairman of the police committee. revealed. The arrests were classi- fied as follows: cruelty 1o animal, l; drunk in charge of motor veh- icle, 3', drunk and disorderly, 2; drunk and incapable, 26; theft, 4; and vagrancy, 5. _

In addition to the above men-

tioned arrests there were two pro- secutions and convictions under the Prohibition Act for unlawful possession oi intoxicating liquor, one conviction under the Excise

Act for the unlawful sale of spir- its, ai.\" convictions under the sani- tary try-law, three for 11011-pay- mcnt ot dog tux, two for contrib- uting to juvenile delinquency, two for keeping vicious dogs. and one for beating board bill. One charge of perjury and one of common assault were dismissed. Fifteen

juveniles wcrc dealt with by the

Juvenile Court.

O11 November 15th the Force collected thirty two samples of milk and four of cream from the licen- sed milk vendors, delivering same 1,0 City Analyst for test.
