It was conducted by Mrs. T.R. Goudge. assisted by Mrs. Dav- id Arbing, leader of the senior

girls. and Rev. oudge, who gave the address. Judy Arbing also spoke briefly,

stressing the value and purpose of CGIT work.

The CGIT choir, with Vodia Hughes organist, sang t . cial numbers, "Lord of Lixf’. and the CGIT hymn.

The three graduates are Judy Arbing, Thelma Cudmore and Sandra MacKay. They are all members of the church and have been in CGIT for four years. They are also chair members and have been active in Sunday school and other church work.

11 Cub Scouts Pass Tenderpad At New Glasgow

NEW GLASGOW —— The 11 members of the newly-formed New Glasgow cub pack recently passed their "tenderpsd" tests and were invested as cubs in a ceremony at the Junior Farm- ers l-Iall.

They were. Stanley Park- man. Ian and Harvey Gauthier. Dana and Herbert Dickieson: Brian and Blaine Nicholson. Michael Coneen. Charles Sel- lers. Edwin Pineau and Tony llowatt.

Most are from New Glasgow, but others are from surounding districts such as South Rustico and Ebenezer.

The young lad suffered jury when he co ded open door of a local dry clean- ing truck, operated by John Profitt of St. Peters Road. A few second before the accident recurred the driver had stop to make a delivery and had just opened the door and was about to step out of the cab. when the lad who was riding a bicycle crashed into the door.

The injured boy was taken to the hospital were examina- tion revealed that he had suf- fered a broken eardrum. He was released to his home after about a week with instructions to return at a future date for further examination.

J. R. MacCorron Buried Tuesday

The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospi- tal on Sunday, May 24th. 1964 of James Robert MacCarron. St. Mary’s Road in his 68th year.

The late Mr. MacCarron who was the son of Michael and Elizabeth Farrell MacCarron was s veteran of World Wars one and two. He practiced his trade of blacksmithing in Stur— geon and had a wide circle of
