Dustuiy, Feb. 16. An independent witness, yesterday iden- tified Tom McCaffery as the fourth man on the car driven by Kavanagh to the scene of the murder on the 6th of May. McCaffery | was previously indetified by Kavanagh.

At Georgetown, on the 7th Dec., 1882, Archibald McKinnon, aged eighty-eight years. He emigrated from the Island of Mull, Scot- land, 1852. He left a wife, two sons and four daughters.
At Johnston’s River, Donagh Settlement, on Sunday, the 11th inst., after a short illness, Owen Trainor, in the 95th year of his age. Requiescat in Pace.
The deceased was a native of the Parish of Donagh, townland of Rawrutha, County Mona- ghan, Ireland. He emigrated to this Island in the year 1839, with a family of nine child- ren, seven of whom are living. He had sixty- nine grand children, and sixty-six great-grand children. The deceased was a kind neighbor, a useful member of society, a faithful member of the Church, and a man who deservingly received the respect of all with whom he was acquainted, His funeral took place on Tues- day iast. It was attended by a large con- course of people. High Mass was celebrated by Rev. Allan McDonald, in St. Patrick’s Ci urch, in the grave yard of which was laid to rest, one of the oldest and most respected members of the parish, deeply regretted by his family and friends.

Also. all that other tract, piece, or parcel ot land, situate, lying and being on Township Number Sixty-seven, in Queen's County, aforesaid, bounded and described as follows, that is to say: Commencing at the west side of the County Line Road, in the northern bound- ary of John Hughes’ land; thence west at right angles to the County Line Koad, twenty-three chains and fifty links, or until it meets the line dividing Prince and Queen's Counties; thence northwardly along eaid line until it strikes a new road leading to the County Line Raiiway Station; thence east- wardly along the said road until it strikes the County Live Road, aforesaid; thence southwardly along the said last-mentic ned road to the place of commencement, containing one hundred and twenty-three acres of land, a little more or less, excepting and reserving thereout all land taken for Railway purposes, and all lots or small portions of land sold to various parties,and whose deeds are registered in the Registry Oflice, which said Mortgage has been duly assigned and transferred by the said John Lefurgey to me.
