The fun- eral was largely attended and the service was conducted by Rey. E. C. Evans, pastor of St. Johns Presbyterian Church of which the deceased was a regular attendant while in good health.

Mr. Ross was a descendant of the skye pioneers of Belfast. ljie spent the most of his life on the farm of the old homestead, ex. cept for a few years spent in the U. S. A. in his early manhood.
