BY virtue and in pursuance of Her Majesty‘s Writ of ‘ Election, to me directed, tested the 'l‘wrxrr rmsr day of‘JAsUAmv, 1867, and commanding me to cause to be made 6 Public Notice and Proclamation in some ot the most public places within the Polling Divisions lor the Second Elector- :11 District ol'King’s County, for all persons duly qualiﬁed b law to vote for Members to serve in the Legislative Council ; for the said Second Electoral District of Kings County, to appear betore me to nominate, elect and choose, one . able and discreet man for business to represent the said Second Electoral District of King's County, in the Legis- lative Council, in the room of the lion. James MeLaren, now deceased.——I do hereby give Public Notice that I will on Thursday, the 7th day of .March mart, at the OLD COURT HOUSE in GEORGETOWN, King’s County, afore- said, at the hour of Eleven o’clock of the forenoon ol the same day, open and hold a COURT for the nomination and election of one able and discreet man for business to represent the said Second Electoral District of Kings County. And that in case a Poll shall on said day, at said Court, be demanded for said Election, I hereby give further notice that I will on Thursday, the l—ilh day of BIarc/l new, ensuing, cause a Poll to be opened for the First Polling Division of the Second Electoral District of King‘s County, at the hour of half past nine o’clock, in the forenoon of the said last mentioned day, at or near Mchx‘s, Eighteen . Mile Brook, 0n the Georgetown Road; and for the Second Pollinrr Division of the said Second Electoral District of King’s County, I will, on the same day and hour as last aforesaid, cause a Poll to be opened at AL].E\"S, at the Division Line of Townships numbers Fifty-two and Fifty-i three; and for the Third Polling Division of the said Second Electoral District of King’s County, I will on the same day i and hour as last aforesaid. cause a Poll to be opened at or ' near GRAND RIVER Barnes; and for the Fourth Polling Divi- sion of the said Second Electoral District of King’s County, I .I will, on the same day and hour aforesaid, cause a Poll to be opened at or near MONTAGUE RIVER, (Lower Bridge,) 1 on Township number Fifty-nine; and for the Fifth Polling Division of the said Second Electoral District of King‘s County, I will, on the same day and hour as last aforesaid, I cause a P011 to be Opened at or near SENTNER’s, Cross Roads, on Township number Sixty-three; and for the Sixth Polling Division of the said Second Electoral District of King’s a County, I will, on the same day and hour as last aforesaid, cause a Poll to be Opened at or near DAVID CaicnroN’s, South River Bridge, Township number Sixty-four; and for the Seventh Polling Division of the said Second Electoral , District of King’s County, I will, on the same day and hour l as last aforesaid, cause a Poll to be opened at or near NICHOLAS EDMUND’S, on Township Number Sixty-six; and for the Eighth Polling Division of the said Second Electoral Dis- trict of King’s County, I will, on the same day and hour as 3 last aforesaid, cause a P011 to be opened at the COURT HOUSE, in Georgetown, in the said County of King’s County,- of which all persons duly qualiﬁed by law to vote for one Member for the said Second Electoral District of l King’s County in the Legislative Council of this Island, and all other persons whom the aforesaid Writ of Election doth or may concern, are hereby required to take notice and overn themselves accordingly.

The ﬁrst Polling Division shall comprise and include Township number Fifty-one, and the P011 shall be held at or near McLean’s, Eighteen Mile Brook, on the Georgetown Road; the Second Polling Division shall comprise and in- clude Townships numbers Fifty-two and Fifty-three, and the P011 shall be held at or near Alley’s, at the Division Line of Townships numbers Fifty-two and Fifty-three ; and the Third Pollin Division shall comprise and include Town- shi numbers ifty-four and Fifty-ﬁve, Boughton Island, an the P011 shall be held at or near Grand River Bridge;

Township number Titty—nine, and the Poll shall be held at or near Montague River, Lower Bridge, on said Township : and the Fifth Polling Division shall comprise and include Townships numbers Sixty—one and Sixty-three, and Panmure Island, and the Poll shall be held at or near Sentner‘s, (‘ross Roads, on Township number Sixty-three ; and the Sixth Polling Division shall comprise and include Township num- ber Sixty-four, and the several Islands in the Harbor of Murra Harbor, and the Poll shall be held at or near David Crichton’s, South River Bridge, on said Township ; and the Seventh Polling Division shall comprise and include Town- ship number Sixty-six, and the Poll shall be held at or near Nicholas Edmund‘s,on said Township; and the Eighth Polling Division shall comprise and include Georgetown, the Roy- alty, Common and Reserved Lands, and the Poll shall be held at the Court Ilouse, Georgetown, in the said County of Kings County. James Yeo, against James McKinnon, I have taken and seized as the property of the said James MeKinnon, All the right, title and freehold interest of the said James McKinnon, in and to ﬁfty acres of freehold land. with the appurtenances, situate on Lot or Township No. 14, in Prince County; and I do hereby give public notice that l will, on the 11th day of March, 1867, at 1‘2 o’clock, noon, at the Court House in St. Eleanor’s, in the said County, set up and sell at auction, the above mentioned property, or as much thereofas will satisfy the levy marked on the said writ, being £59 19s 9?;«1, with interest thereon from 24th No- vember, 1864. until paid, besides Shenti"s tees and incidental ex- pcnses.

James Yeo, against Anthony McKin- non, I have taken and seized as the property of the said Anthony Kinnon, All the right, title and freehold interest of the said Anthony Meliinnon, in and to ﬁfty acres of Land, with the ap- - purtenances, situate on Township NC. 14, in Prince County; and I do hereby give public notice, that I will on the 11th day of March , 1867, at 12 o’clock, noon, at the Court House in St Eleanor’s, in said County, set up and sell by public auction, the said property, or as much thereof as will satisfy the levy marked on the said writ, being £72 115 Md, with interest thereon from 24th Novem- ber, 1864, until paid, 16s 10d for said writ, besides Sheriff’s fees and incidental expenses.

Y virtue of a writ ofStatutc Execution to me directed, issued out of Her Majesty’s Supreme Court of Judicature, at the suit of William Sanderson against William Penny, I have taken and Seized as the property of the said William Penny, All his right, title and freehold interest in and to 100 acres of Land, at little more or less, with the buildings and appurtenances thereun to belonging, situate on Township No. 53, bounded on the North by the Road leading from Head of St. Peter’s Bay, to Cardigan, on the East by land in the possessxon of Michael Herring, and on the West by land in the possession of John McDonald, Roderick’s son, in King’s County; and I do hereby give public notice that I will, on Monday, the Illth day of August next, at the hour of 12 o’clock, noon. at the old Court House in Georgetown, set up and sell at Public Auction, the above recited property, or as much thereof as will satisfy the levy marked on the said writ, being for the sum of £10 35 4d, debt and costs, with interest on £7103, from 16th Aplii, A.D. 1866, until paid, together with 168 8d, for said writ, besides
