This summer 4,400 young Canadians will have an opportunity to study one

> of the official languages in immersion courses which are offered at accredited institutions across Canada. The bursaries awarded under the program, which is fin- anced by the federal gov- ernment and administered by the provinces, are val- ued at $610. each and co— ver the costs of tuition and room and board. They are paid directly to the institution.

To be eligible a candidate must:

- be a Canadian citizen or have landed immigrant sta- tus:
