St. Paul as an influence towers above all other Christian leaders: and the foundation of this was his meeting with Christ on the Da- mascus road. He described this experience with the same words that he used when he recited in order the Lord's appearances to others after his Resurrection: "He was seen of me also." That "see- ing" changed the aggressive de- voice of Pharlsaism into Christ's apostle, who thus became a "ves- sel chosen to bear the Name" of

Mystical visions marked the call of many Hebrew prophets to their ministry. St. Paul himself had ”visions and revelations" in which his mind was transported in a state of rupture into the invisible world. But all these visions dif- fered in kind from the sight of Christ uhlch converted the Jewish persccuior who became the Christ- ian saint.

FUNERAL YESTERDAY - The funeral of the late Matthew Mar. rissey. who died-at the Charlotte- town Hospltel April 1st., was held yesterday afternoon from the res- lden-ce of Miss Margaret Lapvpin. 20 Hill.-Iboro St. 10 St. Dunstan's Bas- ilica.
