BANFF. Alta" Jan. 13—-(CP)- A record number oi.’ entries has been received for thc fourth an- nual international collegiate ski meet to be held on Mt. Norquay slope her Feb. 4 and 5, it was announced.

Fourteen four-man teams have indicated they will attend the two-day; meet, officials said. Last year, 10 teams took part.

The University of Washington, will return to defend its title, and the 1949 runner-up, University of British Columbia, also will com- pelc.

Only other Canadian entry is the University of Alberta.

One o! the outstanding perform- . ers expected to take part is Alan Fischer, star of the University of \Vashington team when lt captur- ed the title.

To set back to the subject of bounties. This summer the Gov- ernment, st the request of the sportsmen, placed a bounty of l0 cents on every pair of crew's feet turned in at the bounty office. A few days n60 I made it. a point to inquire how many feet had been tumecl in . . . . . the exact total of four pairs. The bounty office paid 40 cents out of pocket and didn't bother to bill the Province for it. There were more crows shot than that number. I myself
