COW FALLS INTO WELL-A rather unusual accident occurred at Winslow about 6.30 Sunday evening when Mr. Stephen Holroyd was wat- ‘ ering his cattle. It appears that one’ cow charged at another causing the latter to fall head first down the t-wcnty-foot well. Mr. Holroyd im- mediately scurried down the water, pipe and secured the cow's head‘ above the water until he could get help. Immediately a crowd gathered on the scene and were successful in raising the animal to the surface after a couple of hours work with block and tackle. Bossy was none the worse for her experience and‘ quite calmly walked over and fin-‘ ished her refreshments when she came to the top.
