WINNIPEG. Aug. 11 -(CP)-A general. sharp drop of grain prices wu made, today on the Winnivet Grain Exchange. May contracts of all grains recorded new seasonal lows.

The declines were attributed to increased selling and United States market recessions, accompanied by increased hedging sales.

Oats futures attracted trade from American accounts and both oats and barley came in tor some shipper demand. Rye futures saw liquidation make an appearance under pressure of local trade.

During the last two days. 1.000.- 000 bushels of wheat was allocat- ed to the United Kingdom and 600.000 bushels was sold to Swit- zerland. Ecuador was credited with taking 20.000 bushels while Colom- bia was the purchaser of 'a small parcel.

Class two wheat. for sale to countries other than the United Kingdom, was unchanged.

Range of oats was 3-4 to.1 1-8 lower; on barley 1 3-8-2 lower on rye 2-2 1-2 lower; and on iiex unchanged.
