The game. ragged and disorgan- lztd at times and at others, fas= and exciting, saw the first period end in a 1-1 tie. Saint John out- acrred Bearcats 4-1 in the second period and scored once while Bureau collected two in the final frame.

Bearcats had an edge in the first period and in the latter min- utes of the third but the Beavers’ second period drive which netted them four goals was enough to de- cide the contest. 1t was Bear- cats second loss on their home ice this season and the first away~ rrrm home win for Jackie Keat- Ing's boys.
