MONTREAL. Qua, July 26. - Sales on the Montreal grain market today were confined tbe small iota the foreign demand was extremely quiet and the local trade was only fuir. Car iota of No. 2. Canadian outs werewquoted at 61 cunts, No. 3 at 57 cents.

Prices for spring and .wlnter wheat grades of flour were well maintained but the volume of busi- ness transacted in lboth cases was small. A fair amount of business was done in moat lines of lmillfeed and the undertone was firm. Trude in standard grades of rolled oats was dull but prices were steady.

Extreme dullness marketed the butter trade lbut prices ruled steady. No. 1- pasteurized was oi’- fered at 33c to 33 1-2 per pound. The receipts were 2,178 packages. The cheese market continued ac- tive and western grades were of- fered at 16 3-4 to 17c per pound. The receipts were 15,406 Iboxes.
