The executive committee of the Boy Scout Association an- nounced last evening that the re- gular Boy Scout campaign for maintenance and expansion pur- poses would be held throughout the Province from January 26th.. to February 10th.. 1959.

Major R. D. MacGilIivray will act as Charlottetown chairman. Brigadier W. W. Reid will be chairman of special names. The Provincial chairman was not an- nounced.

Special mention was made by Lt.-Col. Jenkins for the meal which was served by members of the Ladies Auxiliary of the

Canadian Legion.

‘Dies In Hospital

The late Mr. Fraser was one or 10 children born to the late Charles Blaikie and Hannah B. lSimmonsl Fraser.

in his early life he worked on the home farm which is now well within the town limits of Mom- taguc. and helped in clearing if of woodland for cultivation.

The late Mr. Fraser was mar- ried in 1895 to the former EVelyn B. Peters of Lower Mon- tague who predeceased him in 1948.

Accompanied by his wife. Mr. Fraser travelled to Boston m 1903 where they resided for 45 years, during which time he was associated with the Waldorf As- toria chain of restaurants.

Island Branch Hears Secreta ry

Donald E. Curran. executive secretary of the Maritime Divis ion of the Canadian Paraplegic ASsociation. returned to Halifax Thursday. after attending a meet- ing of the P.E.l. branch of the association in Charlottetown.

In 1948 following the death of his wife, Mr. Fraser retired to his native province and for the past several years has resided with his nephew. Horace Fraser and Mrs. Fraser.

He is survived by two brothers

Elliot and Harry in Inglewood, California. Funeral service will be held

from Trinity United Church. Montague. Saturday. December 6th at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place in Lower Montague Cemetery.
