The lute Mr. Garnhum was a

competent workman. popular with all departments of the Patriot Publishing Co. and was possessed of a most kindly disposition.

Joining the staff when 11 mere lad. he wee, after s few vears. given charge of the then fist-bed press. When the big rotary press was installed some years ago he tuck aver and had been in charge of this valuable machine until forced to retire.

He is survived by his Wllc. the former Dora Welsh. and sn adopt- ed daughter, s niece of MrsPGarn- um, to whom the sympathy cf all is extended. '

The funeral was held from his late residence. 182 King Street Tuesday morning. April 2nd to 5t. Dunstan’: Basilica where Ro- quiem High Mass was celebrated by Rev. P. F. McDonald. who also conducted services at the grave. The employees of the Patriot. Pub- lishing Company eceded the hearse in s body. '1‘ e pallbearers
