Be- sides exceeding the best score for three- year-olds in milk production, Jamaica has also produced in one week 26 ounds and 3 ounces of fine unsalted gutter. Therecords are kept by Mr. Mitchell and his sons, and there is no question about this accuracy.

The statement below will show that both heifers have beaten the great cow Aggie, owned by Smith & Powell, and which yields in one day 84 pounds and 12 ounces,and the still greater cow Ondive, owned by G. S. Miller,of Peter- boro, N. Y. which gave 91 pounds. The statement is for 31 days, ending Satur- day, March 15, The yield is given in pounds and ounces.
