Earth, probably formed 5.000,- 000,000 years ago, is a home just beginning to be undertood by man, says Dr. Lloyd V. Berkner. one of the prominent scientists who has spent a life- time rummaging among the se- crets of the earth.

"With our' heavily populated earth, we simply cannot afford not to know what is really going on." he says.
