The game kept 15,416 fans on the edge of their seats.
Worsley was credited with 48 saves as the Canadiens twice | blew leads, then put on a fe- verish last - period charge and came from behind.
The Canadiens, streaking to- ward their fifth straight regular season championship, now have lost only twice in their last 22 games. In the stretch they have won 17 and tied three.
Worsley, a stubby little vet- eran, didn’t have a chance on the Canadiens'’s tying goal. Bobby Rousseau deflected Tom Johnson's siapshot from near the blue line at 16:11 of the final period, the puck caroming past the surprised goalie.

DETROIT (CP) Toronto Maple Leafs ran up a 4-0 lead Sunday night and then coasted to an 8-2 victory over Detroit Red Wings to further dim De- troit's chances of maxing the Stanley Cup playoffs.
