The reports of the retiring President, the Secretary and the various committees showed that the club [sin a flourishing condition athletically and financially, and the members were all enthusiastic concerning the coming season’s outlook. From a financial standpoint the past. year was the most successful in the history of the club. At. the beginning of the last year tns deficit of the club, because of lntptoventenrsnn grounds, tennis courts, equipment and other unforeseen expenses amounted to $311.47. This year, however the larger part of this deficit. has been met. The total receipts of the past year from membership fees, athletic meets, tennis, hockey. football and baseball amounted to $677.14. The total expenditure amounted rostrum) leaving a balance on the year‘s transac- tions of $208.24. This cuts the deficit down to $106.23, and there is ewry indication that next year's close will see a substantial net surplus. The citation of oiilcers resulted as follows:
