The Bacon hog carcass demonstration to be held II Moncton, N. B., is intended for the edification of hog pro- ducers of the Maritime Provinces and it is sincerely hop-

ed that a generous entry will be made from this province. .

Farmers shipping hogs on Monday or Tuesday-Oct»- ober 30-31 are asked to select Olle as their entry in this competition and deliver it to their shipping agent who will take over and report to Committee in Charge for Island entries. These h0g5 will be taken to Charlottetown and conditioned for the trip to Moncton a day or two there- after where they will be immediately slaughtered and the carcasses placed in coolers until the day of the contest when they will be put in competition with hogs from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. There will be no extra cz- ponee to the shipper and Island Hogs stand a good chance winning in this contest.

If you feel you are a good judge of hogs-estimating on the hoof-be a good sport, make a selection, an entry and deliver your hog-thafs all there is to it. Perhapl you are a good judge, if so it will be real nice to have it con- firmed by expert bacon judges at the Fair, if not—no harm done.

In addition, you may win n valuable Individual Prize, Provincial Grand Prize, or even a. Maritime “Sweep". No fooling, your chances are as good as that of any exhibitor.
