Last Friday night, the Pioneer reports, a horse was stolen from the stable of Mr. Bar- low, Ellerslie, driven to Alberton and sold t» a horse-+yuyer who shipped him downfhere on the Saturday night train. The owner being on the lock-out, recognized the the animal when the traiu stopped at some of the stat-ons on the road, got on board train, took out a Warrant on arriving at Snmmerside and secured his horse, leaving the buyer to get his money from the thief as best he could.
