The Leafs gave the Hawks plenty of trouble all the way, but their hard battle against the Montreal Marroons Saturday night appear- ed to have slowed them up, and with only 50 seconds to go in the over- time period, "Mush" March took a pass from Tommy Cook and slap- ped the puck into the net.

The contest was ragged most of the way, and open shots at the cages were few.
