KINKORA C.W.L.

The regular meeting of the Kinkora. sub-division C.W.L. was held on Sept. 4th., with the pre- sident Mrs. Hugh J. Mclvor in the chair. Tile League prayer was re- cited by the Rev. Director Father McQuaid. The minutes of the pre- vious meeting were read by Mrs James Hammli in the absence of the Executive Secretary. The various ccerirnittee conveners reported on their different activities. The re- port of the ‘treasurer Mrs. Ralph McCarville showed s favorable sum of money in the Bank.

The usual prizes were donated for Christian Doctrine. Plans were discussed and arrangments made for a chicken supper to be held on Thursday September 22nd in Kinkora Hall.

The president gave e very in- teresting and instructive report of the Provincial Catholic Women's League Convention held recently in Charlottetown which she attend- ed as Delegate.

The Rev. Director Father Mc- Quald addressed the meeting and spoke briefly on the necessity of teaching Christian Doctrine in the homes. thus furiherihg this worth- while educational endeavor. Meet- ing adjourned.
