National Research Council is inviting applications from honor students in science and engineering for summer positions. Deadline is Nov. 2lst. Parks Canada — Park Interpreter — The applications for Park Interpreter are now availa— ble at'our office. These will be four-month positions, May to September and the wage will be $7.99 per hour. Qualifications are pest-seconday training or significant experience in a field related to science, i.e., botany, zoology, ecology or forestry; communicative abilities for public speaking, scrint writi g and illustrative talks; bilingualism is a definite asset. Closing date of competition is Nov.30th. Park Naturalists - Alberta Parks — Individuals with

a broad combination of academic and interpersonal skills are required. Experience involving direct public contact is an asset.

I am encouraged by the number of students who have requested "resume writing" sessions as well as "inter- view technique" sessions.

I feel we are beginning to reach a larger percent of the students. We have still a long way to go but none— theless it is encouraging. Please don't hesitate to request any service, such as these, which might help you u timately find meaningful employment. That is why we're here!
