Mark Stevenson, a specialist in drama education, has extensive theatre experience in Canada and the USA as an actor, director and teacher. His most recent acting appearances with Theatre PEI were in the 1994 productions of The Blue Castle, The Island Remembers, and the schools touring production Water Wise. Last summer, he completed a teaching and directing assignment in New York State. —

Hello there, fellow History buffs. As the semester winds down, I am sure that eve- ryone is busy with papers and tests; I know that T'am anyway. The Society has been keeping busy with its raffle and we would like to thank all of you out there who supported it. The draw was held on Friday and I will have the names of the winners in next week’s edition of the X- Press. Just a general reminder to all of you out there: the retirement party for Professor Spira will be April 6, 4-6 in the Faculty Lounge. All are welcome to attend. This is a wonderful opportunity to thank him for all the hard work he has done for the History Department of UPEI. Well, that is about all for this week.
