We hope everyone enjoyed the Waltons last Tuesday. It was very encouraging to see so many people out to a Tuesday event. Often we have to book “big” bands on “off” nights because of cost considerations so we'll do our best to bring the hottest bands to the Barn. |

Don’t miss any of the Blue Jays games as they try to repeat as World Champions. The “Stampede Special” will be on during the entire playoffs The “Stampede Special” is: when the Blue Jays score a run all beer and shots go on special for five minutes and of course there’s always a stampede

to the bar when a run is scored so - “the stampede special!!”

Our last year’s St. Patrick’s Day band, Windjammer, is back Thursday, October 7 for the Business Society Pub. This year’s group has been turning out for every event, so this pub is a guaranteed good time.

Movies for This Friday are “Point of No Return” starring Bridget Fonda and the wacky “Loaded Weapon Part |” the spoof of Lethal Weapon.

Mark Thursday, October 28 on your calendar as it will be our annual Halloween Pub. Our hours will be extended to 2:00am so that night people won't have to skip off downtown to fight the lineups. “Cameras in Paris” from Halifax have been signed and will be cranking some fantastic dance music. These guys played on New Years Eve and on our closing night last year and everybody loved them so we made sure we'd get them for our rockin’ Halloween Pub.

The list is growing for October 14th Campus Comedy. It must be all that $$$ ! We will be giving out $350.00 in prize money to our funniest comedians. Give us a call at the Barn to register. :

We hate to leave you on a bad note but we have some bad news. Apparently Sass Jordan lost two dates in New Brunswick so she has cancelled her tour to Eastern Canada, which of course means she will not be playing the Barn on the 2Istas originally planned; but don’t despair, because we're still working on bringing other big acts to the Barn. We'll keep you posted!!!
