7 ‘ll It} Inspector of Militia notifies, for the general information of the Force, that the Committee of the Caledonian_ Club have kindly granted the following privileges at the Meeting of the Clans to be holden on Government House Grounds, on the let August next:— All members of the Militia Force in Uniform will be admitted to the Grounds free of charge.

The Games will be open for competition to any two Volun- teer Militiamen from each Company, Without regard to nationality. I I .

A Review of all the available Companies of the Volunteer Militia. will take place on the same day._ .

Com anies to be formed up at the Drill Shed by 1?. o'clock.

. this day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which tho amount of the Invoice of Dutiable Goods. imported into this Island from the United States of America, shall, in estimating the duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of the Island, as follows :—

In all cases where such Invoices shall be made out in Dollars and Cents ofthc paper currency of the United States, the amount of such Invoice shall be reduced into current money of this Island, by allowing for each Dollar the sum of FOUR SHILLINGS AND SIX-FENCE, and in the like proportion for any fraction of a Dol. lar; of which all Collectors of Impost are to take notice and govern
