I know that a Mac- Leod man, a forbearer of Mrs. Wesley MacNevin, Hunter River and Jim MacLeod, who lived and kept a store at Hamp- shire also made the trip in the long ago. ~

STRANGELY enough one of the old ghost stories of Char- lottetown goes back to the same year of 1858. It’s been told many times in print, but I’m repeating it now at the request of several people who have been talking to me.
