Here was a man who was dedicated to the service of his Country, a man who won honour and renown for his personal heroism in the arenas of world conflict.

Called at an early age to serve his Country in its highest office, President Ken- nedy brought the energy of youth and the wisdom of maturity to meet his task. In a few brief years, he earned th e respect and admiration of all who knew his name. To him, more than to any other Statesman of his time, the W0rld has looked for leadership.

To the people of The United States of America and to their President’s beloved fam- ily we extend our heartfelt sympathy.

We mourn with them the loss of his vital presence and his warm humanity.
