Pblat fingers were hard at work on last Thursday night as the Alpha. girls remodeled our black- out curtains for the banquet room windows and the Beta Chapter enqoyed figurine painting. Thanks to the work of the Alpha girls. the Saturday morning groups will now enjoy a thoroughly blacked- out room for their films. We fore- see several beautiful painted

senior lounge this Christmas. Both groups are planning Christ- mas parties in the very near future.

Friday night's regular Phalanx supper meeting was well attended and the members enjoyed two films. me first, the ever popular, silks and Sullties was good enter- tainment and the second entitled "shy Guy" was both instructional and thought provoking.

Friday night is always a busy night for desk attendant, Russ Kelly. He has found an answer to the problem of what to do with the little folk who come early for the Friday night films in the Junior lounge. Russ has originated as Jun-I,

Miss Gracie Margaret Andersen

Her many friends were grieved to hear of her death on November 25th. She had been in failing health for a year or more. yet hopes were held out for her recov- ery. but God called her and she quhetly fell asleep in Jesus at the ho e of Archie MacPhee. Forest l-lill. where she was tenderly cared for by her sisters Mrs. Archie Mec- Phee and Mrs. George Coffin. she was a devoted christian interested in all that was for the uplift of her church and friends. she leaves to mourn one brother Alexandra. wife and son George Anderson of cen- tral Royalty. Charlottetown; two sisters Mrs. George Coffin. St. Pet- ers: Mrs. Archie MacPhee. Forest l-lill. Her funeral was held in St. Pet- , ers United Church. november 25th,, conducted by her Pastor Rev. Mr I MacLeod and Reverend Christen-I sen, Mount Hope in reading of scripture and Prayer. Hymns sung were favorites of the deceased. when My Life Work is Ended was sung very feelingly by Mrs. Birch, Miss Miriam Waye and Rev. Mr. MacLeod. Choir then sang The Lord is My Shepherd. Jesus Lover of My Soul. Mrs. Kenneth Mac- Allum in charge of the music.
