POLICE COURT — At Police Court Saturday morning a. man was fined five dollars and costs or ten days for being drunk and dis- orderly. Two vagrants were caz-h sentenced to thirty days. A man was remanded till the twenty- ninth on a charge of vagrancy.

WAREHOUSE ENTERED-City Police last night were investigat- ing a break made over the week- end in the lobster warehouse of J. J. Hornby, Water Street. Six cases of lobster and three cases 0f chicken were reported missing. Discovery oi the break was made by Mr. Peter Oatway, workman, yesterday afternoon.

The funeral of the late Mrs Mary Cass from her late rfisldfllce in North River on Saturday. Oct. 22nd, was largely ‘attended. The funeral cortege. one Of the lalléeal seen in this district, testifiedbi the esteem and affection in which the deceased yvas held.
