The one thing that all three definitions state that Pornography is the degradation, humiliation, and\or the abuse of the participants.

This was written as an introduction to give you, the reader a brief understanding of what pornography is. Next weeks article deals with Pornography in greater depth.

I n Quebec City and Montreal, the hearings will be conducted in French; in Ottawa, they will be bilingual; elsewhere, English will be used. At all meetings, briefs will be accepted in either official language, and people will be free to make presentations and answer questions in the language of their choice. There will be no simultaneous translation, however.

The Commission will schedule up to 10 minutes for presentation and up to 20 minutes for discussion with the Commissioner for each confirmed speaker or group. Presenters are urged to summarize their material rather

than read it.

If you have other submissions, please send them to the Commission before December 30, 1990, at 280 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1P 5G8. Where possible, the Commission would appreciate receiving your views not only on paper but also on diskette (5 1/4 inch, WordPerfect).
